We are overwhelmed with the love, support, and generosity that has been provided for the Wheeler family in just the past week. Doshie has been healing as well as possible, considering she just had emergency surgery on her abdomen and uterus. She is moving very gingerly and still on a considerable amount of pain meds. Thankfully, I’ve seen her progress from only being able to walk with tears from pain, to now, today, getting out of bed all by herself. Abdominal surgery is no joke folks, and being the one in care of your significant other going through such pain is hard, too. It’s not about me, but I never wanted to see my wife in this much pain. The outpouring of messages, funds, prayers, and love have truly lifted our spirits and given us time and space to: heal, trust, find peace, and love. Some of you have never been formally introduced to Doshie and yet you give out of the kindness of your hearts. For that, I am floored, honored, and grateful. I thank God for such loving family members—blood, in-law, and through Christ our father above. You have all made a considerable impact on our lives in a very critical time in our life. Thank you all for surrounding us with love.
