True Hearts Desire

In the deepest parts of our beings we long to be desired, loved, cherished, and cared for. We often look for those satisfactions and affirmations in people, our successes, material items, monetary things, relationships etc. However there comes a certain point in your life you begin to have the realization that once you’ve obtained the very thing you sought so desperatly for, that it is nothing more than a farce of a even bigger deep rooted void. You end up feeling as empty as you did prior to the procurement of it’s findings.

This life, and all it has to offer is so very temporary yet depending on any giving stressful day it can end up feeling like the longest day of our entire life. I have to consistently remind myself that this life is a temporary home. Not that we cannot find joy and contentment in it, nor that we cannot have life amongst our living. But it is a reminder to know the burdens of this life comes with its own set of trials, challenges and burdens. The fall of man took every glimpse of hope we ever had, until the ONE, came to restore, give life, sustain and heal. Somedays you will feel fully healed other days you will feel completely empty. Everyday regardless of your feelings, he is there with you in this thing called life. Even in your lack of comprehension to his goodness he doesn’t wavier on the consistency of his protective love for you. I am a firm believer that even though I can’t see what he is doing, I have to trust the process because he has yet to fail me in any capacity of this life. Stay encouraged friends 🧡
