Love Languages In A Pandemic

Fun fact about me, my top love languages are “words of affirmation” and “quality time”. Due to the recent recommendation of “social distancing” its been a little hard for me to willfully want to abide by it. I really value the time spent with others. I try to maximize my time by having meaningful conversations, laughter and discussing real life issues whether the depth of our conversation is reciprocated or not. As crazy as it sounds I actually like the fact that I am required to still go to work. Because honestly this season would be even harder then what it already is. There is great merit in being by yourself, but man there is nothing like breaking bread, having fellowship and getting to know people. It’s such a amazing experience to see how unique a person is and how different they are from you, even though they where created by the same being. And if you haven’t noticed it yet already I’m a extrovert so for all you introverts who struggle on a daily basis in normal pre COVID -19 world this extrovert is on the struggle bus during this process 🤣. Any who, I say all that to say. I never want to take the time I get to spend with others for granted. Hopefully one day soon we can all be together again. Especially my dance ladies.
