Veterans Day

You see this big kooliad smile on my face in these photos?!?! I’m not only smiling because I am happy I am smiling because I am free. For over a decade my life has consistently been surrounded by veterans. They are imbedded into my everyday life. This country would not be safe without the protection, sacrifices, and the valor of these men and women. I am so internally grateful to have them in my life. I can name more than 30 veterans off the top of my head who have touched my life, positively impacted it and have directly kept me safe from harms way. For many people if they do not have loved ones or friends who have served in the military they really don’t know the magnitude of the daily sacrifices they make. Let me be very clear, this lifestyle is not for the faint of heart. It takes grit, perseverance, and a overwhelming amount of sacrifices you couldn’t even begin to understand. Today I salute you and thank you. I can smile often and live freely in America because the flag that is behind me reminds me that I am free because of the brave. Happy Veterans Day! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
